    Description

Striking real photo book card of RMS BERENGARIA, Cunard Line's flagship of the 1920's and the first half of the 1930's until the advent of RMS QUEEN MARY in 1936. Launched and commissioned just before World War I as Hamburg Amerika's SS IMPERATOR of 1913, she was ceded to Britain as a prize of war and purchased by Cunard. Old age, dangerously faulty wiring and the Great Depression caught up with this once largest ship in the world and she was scrapped in the late 1930's.
